Blogging in a Bubble

I am blogging in a bubble, and that is alright.
Every step along my journey must be for me or it is for naught.
If one gets into blogging specifically to get readers and people to listen to what they have to say, then they are pursuing a self serving means that will eventually fail. Also, if one is blogging for a company or a brand, then they had better be getting paid for it, because burn out will sure happen down that path as well.
During the first year I don’t plan to have any readers, and will learn much about myself, my writing style, and my general interests (pertaining to writing). I have found that when I write, much of what is happening in my life gets uncluttered and clarity is achieved.
Basically, writing is therapy. Writing is also a skill that is practiced while one is in academia, but is quickly lost during the years and decades post education. As a gift to myself, I want to hone this craft of writing so that I can thoroughly convey my thoughts and desires to not only my peers, but to my children and family.
When I post to this blog, I will be able to keep it as a knowledge repository for myself. Eventually, the search spiders will come across my ramblings and will begin to disseminate my thoughts out unto the internet. But until then, my thoughts will be my own, and will be shared with my readers, who happen to traverse the internet and fall upon my thoughts.
I keep coming back to blogging but I can never keep it up as I want. I will of course attempt to do better at that, as writing is a habit that I must be persistent with to sustain my continual thought progression throughout life.
